cathmfs on "Which plugins to create care.com airbnb type booking site?"

Hello,
I am new to this forum so forgive me if this is not the right thread. I have been searching for months for a way to make a site for temporary employees in my industry where users can submit their profile frontend including their availability on a calendar, and prospective employers can send booking requests through each user's calendar. There would need to be a search function by location and date. I have looked at Joomla and WP. I know my way around the backend of either, but am an absolute beginner with coding, so I need minimal modifications.
My best ideas so far have been:
--WP Multisite with each blog being a different profile, along with Appointments+ --but will people be able to search availability across the whole network?
--Templatics Tevolution plug in to create custom post types with submission forms and their booking plug in for the calendar
--Jomres.net but would need extensive customization.
I am looking for advice from more experienced WP users. So many booking plugins are set up for time slots or for check-in/check-out. I need something that is for single dates, as well as selecting multiple dates. It does not need to collect payment.
