I've removed all plugins, except wp rss aggregator including feed to post, full text rss and keyword filtering.
I'm using the same theme in both environments.
I've removed all other feeds in case something was wonky.
I create a feed. Test it's valid. Publish. Even though my feed should update frequently it says "Next update: 1 month".

- Feed is active
- Limit is high
- Delete old posts is high
- htaccess is the default for wp
- curl is enabled
- no caching since no plugins
- SimplePie Requirements
- cronjob has been tested and adjusted
