Hi,
My site is hosted on GoDaddy and a 500 internal server error was appearing for anyone trying to visit my site (http://gamebx.co.uk) following an update to the Jetpack plugin. The same error was also appearing for myself when trying to log in to view the dashboard (http://gamebx.co.uk/wp-admin).
Presuming it would simply be a plugin issue (specifically with Jetpack) I renamed the 'plugins' folder, sat under wp-content, to 'plugins.old' using FireZilla and then reverted the change which allowed me to then access admin page but with all the plugins deactivated.
My intention was to reactivate each plugin separately to identify the culprit which I thought I had as when reactivating the Jetpack plugin it instantly took me straight to the 500 internal server error page. I deleted the Jetpack plugin and tried reinstalling but the same issue occurred. I also tried deleting the plugin via FTP and reinstalling but still received the same error.
I made peace with the fact I can't use Jetpack any more and removed it completely but now when clicking the 'View details' link on any installed plugins or the 'More details' link on any plugins when searching under Add New Plugins a pop up window appears and just shows 500 internal server error.
I seem to be able to install plugins and activate them (apart from Jetpack), I just can't 'view details'.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
Also, if anyone else has had this issue with Jetpack version 3.2 and managed to fix it I'd appreciate letting me know!
Thanks
