Placester Inc. on "placester plugin, how to design detail pages"

Hi ballyhoo,

I'm guessing that you're not using one of our themes, but are using shortcodes to make your search pages and listing pages. (If you do want to try out our themes, visit Placester > Theme Gallery on your wp-admin page. The theme downloads available there are more up-to-date than those at wordpress.org.)

The default listing detail output of the plugin is very basic. But you can change it at wp-admin > Placester > Shortcodes > Listing Details Templates. "None" is selected by default. If you select "Columbus" you'll see a more stylish format on your detail pages. You can also create your own template to select (from scratch, or by copying and modifying Columbus) and edit both the HTML markup and the CSS styling as you wish.

The listing detail pages use the theme template single.php. Or, if it exists, they will use single-property.php instead. You can edit that template file to control the header, footer, and sidebar(s) in the usual way of Wordpress.
