We are a film company and we post films that are sent to us by producers and directors. We have several categories like: Documentaries | Narratives | Short Films | Series
Our website was made by a previous programmer and it runs on WordPress. We have all the information for the website. If we want to add a "documentary" or "Narrative", it's simple. We see that option anytime we hover over the plugin in WordPress.
After downloading the CPT UI, I created a new custom plugin for a different set of films, but that seems to not be working well because it is recognizing my posts as articles/news-letters and not a film. When I make it public, if I try to "view post", it shows me an error 404 message. IF it doesn't show me an error message, only the text file is visible and not the film.
We are experiencing some difficulties and if you could help out, that would be great. In Wordpress, we are unable to create custom UI plugins, to be able to post new films in a new category. When we create the new section, and want to review our new posting, it gives us an "error 404" that there was something wrong with the page.
Also, making our videos paid rentals(premium) is having some issues as well. Once we attempt to make a video premium or paid, it disappears from its initial category and exists only in the premium section. This only happens when we do this in the documentaries section.
