I think I have the same problem. I have installed the plugin which appeared to go through perfectly. I get one item on the menu, NMedia File Upload, which has one sub-menu item, Files in List. The sub-menu item works in as much as I'm presented with an empty file list, but I see no Options menu and if I click on the top level menu item, NMedia File Upload, I get a WordPress error screen saying "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."
I have tried deactivating, deleting and reinstalling it, but the same results exactly.
