bakercreative on "YMLP plugin - not receiving email"

I've installed the YMLP plugin and dropped it into my sidebar and I've entered the API key, username and group ID (=1) from my YMLP account.

When I test the plugin by entering an email address it displays the 'thank you' message but I don't receive an email asking me to confirm subscription?

Can you help?
